Gen Z Gets Older

Notice that the title of this post isn't "Gen Z Grows Up."

Aldi Girl, and Staples Girl, and Kroger Girl, and the other young people whose stories you've read here, have something in common, besides belonging to a generation whose intellectual and emotional development stopped at age sixteen (and that's giving them more credit than they deserve).

No one ever sat them down and told them that being a bitch, or a dickhead, isn't cool, and that if you keep being a bitch, or a dickhead, someday someone's going to call you out for it, and the results won't be pleasant.  It definitely wasn't their second generation hippie parents, or their first generation hippie grandparents, or any teacher in the (communist) public schools they attended, where feeling good at the end of the day is more important than actually learning stuff.

Definitely not cool. In fact, acting like a bitch or dickhead in public, believe it or not, is so ratchet. Don't ask me how I know about "ratchet."  Maybe it's from this video:

Okay. That's all for today. It's getting dark outside, but I still have to go out and take a selfie.
